Cor Unum (which means “One Heart”) is a Dutch ceramics workshop founded in 1953. The company produces tableware and ceramic objects created by internationally renowned designers and artists, while combining commercial success with social responsibility by employing people who are otherwise unemployed, students, and volunteers.

The teddy bear is a symbol of connection and affection. It represents the deep attachment one can feel toward an object, and the way we project our hopes and dreams onto it.
Cor Unum has explored textiles and ceramics and has created a mold for a ceramic teddy bear.

Jobe is the result of a research project on joy and the expression of joyful emotions.
The teddy bear plays a central role in this project as a symbol of generosity.
